The future is green
To help its clients to provide responses to environmental and social questions, Keneo marries its sporting expertise with the methods used to carry out the initiative "Social Responsibility of Organisations" (RSO):
Defining a sustainable strategy
The first stage of the process entails the creation of a sustainable development policy: analysing the current situation, defining the organisation’s own vision, putting together and leading in-house working groups, determining an operational action plan, managing the implementation, monitoring, and reporting. To empower the client, taking stock and setting goals are initially necessary.
Pinpointing responsible activities
Keneo helps all kinds of clients (institutions, associations, organisers, foundations, leagues, stadiums, events etc.) to implement specific activities: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, managing waste and recycling systems, making responsible purchases, training those involved and making them aware, increasing accessibility, identifying key performance indicators. From conviction to action, in other words.
Conducting an exemplary "Bilan Carbone®" assessment
Keneo is authorised by ADEME to run "Bilan Carbone®" greenhouse gases emissions assessments on events or organisations. Aside from the simple results, this initiative enables us to make all concerned more aware, to identify the work stations with the highest emissions and to find the most efficient solution. To accept that changes need to be made is already the first step towards making that change.
Increasing public awareness across the board
Due to the fact that sport is centred on values that favour collectivism and excellence, the link between sustainable development and sport seemed an obvious one to us. This guiding principle is something of which we would like to help increase awareness across the board, via environmentally–friendly events, and activities that have a real impact in terms of public understanding and visibility.
